What is Rise??

Rise symbolizes strength, resilience, and transformation. It is the courage to climb higher, evolve, and keep moving forward no matter the terrain. At Rise, we elevate trail and ultra runners of all genders through science-based, heart-led coaching. Founded and led by women, we blend physiology, psychology, and community to help athletes rise beyond limits and discover their full potential. Here, every athlete belongs—from first trail steps to 200+ mile finish lines.


Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Alexa Hasman — founder of Rise Ultra Coaching.

I believe endurance isn’t just built through miles; it’s built through purpose, resilience, and a science-driven plan designed around you. Trail and ultra running test both the body and the mind, which is why I bring not just experience from the trail, but also the academic and psychological foundation to help every athlete rise to their potential.

With a Master’s in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Sports Psychology, I combine the science of performance with the art of coaching. My approach integrates physiology, mindset, strength, and recovery to create individualized, sustainable progress for athletes of all genders and backgrounds.

RISE Mental Performance

A structured mental training program for endurance athletes.

You’ve put in the miles. You know how to suffer. But there’s a difference between grinding through hard efforts and actually performing with clarity and confidence when it counts.

Mental skills are trainable. Most athletes never train them.

RISE Mental Performance is a four-week, one-on-one program built for endurance athletes at any phase: deep in a training block, preparing for a goal race, coming back from injury, or rebuilding after a hard season. You’ll leave with a practical framework you can use immediately and rely on long term.

What we work on:

Silencing the mean voice in your head that says you’re not enough. Rebuilding confidence when injury or a bad race has knocked it out. Managing the fear and identity loss that comes with return to sport. Learning to trust your body again. Staying focused and making good decisions when things get hard. Navigating setbacks without a full spiral.

What’s included:

A detailed intake questionnaire. A 60-minute consult to identify patterns, strengths, and key areas for growth. Three follow-up sessions building and applying specific skills. Individualized strategies for your current phase. Weekly homework to integrate skills into real training. A written mental performance framework delivered to you at the end.

This is for you if:

Your biggest limiters aren’t physical. You talk to yourself in ways you’d never talk to an athlete you care about. You’re returning from injury and struggling to feel safe in your body again. You want to compete with as much intention mentally as you do physically.
